Save the Date

Dave and I have been getting lots of questions about the day of our wedding, so we thought we might help everyone remember. Forgive the cheesiness.

Sunny Meadows Farm Soap
We love the bath products made by neighbor and friend, Betsy Meadows. She makes them with natural ingredients from her garden and from her goat's milk and cow's milk, and they smell wonderful (not like goats at all). We love this soap (and so does her baby Benjamen)! You can order it online at www.sunnymeadowsfarm.com, directly from her, or from area businesses.

ET phone home

Dixe, aka Grandma, aka Dixiewixieboombalixie, is making a rare appearance on the blog, in fact, a rare appearance in someone's lap. We just got lucky, I guess. That mark on her forehead is either an alien communication receptor point or she's Hindu; we're not sure.

Indisputable proof that dogs can read

Thanks for the pic, Anna!

Albino Peacock

Well, you may not have noticed, but all the posts have been under "Laura" up to this point. I finally figured out how to become my very own contributor, so I had to have something to post. I got this as a forward. Pretty, huh.

A visit from Stacy

Maggie was thrilled to have one more person love on her when friend and workstudy, Stacy, came over to the house. Of course, after being pampered, Maggie became insanely jealous of any attention given to the other dogs, so we had to cut her off. She's developed a couple of bad habits lately: she snaps at any other dog that comes near when somebody's sitting with her and she expects belly rubbin's to the extent that if your hand comes near her, she lifts her leg for better belly access. *sigh* What to do with a rotten dog?

Sleepy Nights

Sulu stays pretty warm with this patchwork of Mamaw's.

This is not posed. Maggie sleeps like this every night.

Mollie looks out for Bulu Biscuit

One night I couldn't sleep so I went around taking pictures of sleeping puppies. As you can see, these are some spoiled dogs.

Watch Puppy

Mollie is such a good dog. When this intruder broke into the house, Mollie quickly responded. I feel so safe.

New Arrivals!

Anna's cat, Tessa, had three kittens last week. There were just too many dogs in the family, we had to have more cats to balance them out. If anyone can give a kitty a good home, let us know!

Maggie, the Star

What a beauty! Our Maggie really should do commercials, don't you think? She's ready for her close up, Mr. Deville.
